The primary responsibility of this role is to lead and develop a high-performing sales team in the telecommunications sector. As the Regional Leader for the Communications GIU organization in JAPAC, you will provide mentorship and guidance to inspire and retain top talent while fostering a culture of continuous improvement. It is essential to stay updated on industry trends and market dynamics to identify and prioritize key opportunities. Your role will involve driving pipeline development, revenue forecasting, and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations between Oracle and its customers. Engaging cross-line-of-business teams to deliver large-scale solutions and reviewing team performance regularly to provide coaching and support for professional development goals are also key aspects of this position. Preferred Skills and Experience: - Proven sales leadership experience in selling network and application solutions to the telecommunications industry at a regional level. - Strong sales acumen with expertise in direct and channel sales. - Collaborative leadership style with the ability to matrix-manage and influence across a complex organization. - Track record of building and motivating high-performing sales teams. - Deep industry expertise and executive relationships within the telecommunications sector. - Strategic business solutioning skills to articulate compelling value propositions. - Customer-centric mindset focused on understanding customer needs and aligning solutions to support their objectives. - Ability to lead through change and drive transformation in a dynamic industry landscape.
