Head of Career Services Division

The Indian Institute of Art & Design, New Delhi is looking for a dynamic and experienced professional to lead the Career Services Division. As the incumbent, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of campus placements, building strong industry partnerships, and ensuring that students and alumni have access to a wide range of career opportunities with leading organizations. Your strategic role will focus on enhancing student employability and strengthening the institute's corporate engagement. Your key responsibilities will include expanding the recruiter network, collaborating with faculty and staff to establish new industry connections, maintaining strong relationships with existing recruiters, and designing outreach initiatives to increase participation in career planning events and activities. You will serve as the primary college representative to the employment community, conducting research to understand the skills and credentials sought by employers for graduates. You will also work on employer development by networking with corporate recruiters, planning campus hiring events like job fairs, providing career counseling to students and alumni, and organizing employment training workshops. Qualifications: - Minimum 8-10 years of managerial experience in campus placement and student career counseling. - Preference for candidates with a strong network of companies in the creative field such as graphic/communication design, UX/UI design, advertising and marketing agencies, fashion and lifestyle companies, interior and architectural firms. - Bachelor's degree required, preferably a Master's degree in a relevant discipline. - Strong interpersonal skills and proficiency in written and oral communication. - Administrative, leadership, supervisory, and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks. - Demonstrated ability to network, advocate, and engage with recruiters and various institutional stakeholders.
