Role Overview: You are being considered for the position of Business Development Executive at a mid-senior level for a client in the Business Development industry. With a minimum of 10 years of experience, you will be based in Mumbai for this full-time role. This opportunity involves developing a new B2B marketing and brand solutions vertical tailored to the unique dynamics of India's alcoholic beverages market. Your role will encompass leading the business from inception, crafting the vision, go-to-market strategy, and execution roadmap for a full-service agency specializing in brand growth, distribution support, and market entry solutions. This position is ideal for individuals with deep industry knowledge, entrepreneurial acumen, and a consultative approach to business development. Key Responsibilities: - Business Strategy & Vertical Development: Create and expand a B2B marketing and growth solutions business for alcoholic beverages and premium F&B brands. Develop service offerings including brand activations, GTM strategy, community marketing, event IPs, and trade visibility solutions. - Revenue & Financial Management: Take ownership of the vertical's complete P&L, propel business growth through consultative selling, and ensure achievement of revenue targets. - Client Acquisition & Strategic Partnerships: Engage directly with senior marketing executives in the alcoholic beverages sector, lead proposals, negotiations, and foster partnerships across diverse networks. - Branding, GTM & Communications: Establish the B2B brand identity, supervise content creation, and position the vertical as an industry thought leader. - Consulting & Market Enablement: Assist alcobev brands with India entry strategies, compliance advice, and provide insights into changing consumer behavior and regulatory hurdles. - Team Leadership & Execution Excellence: Recruit, mentor, and guide a multidisciplinary team, establish operational SOPs, and monitor performance benchmarks. Qualification Required: Must-Haves: - 10-15 years of experience in the Indian alcoholic beverages ecosystem. - Previous experience in B2B business development and demonstrated P&L ownership. - Extensive network across alcobev, HORECA, events, and luxury/lifestyle sectors. Preferred: - Experience launching international brands in India or advising on market entry. - Prior leadership positions in a brand consultancy or experiential/events firm. - Familiarity with state-wise alcobev regulations and sales/distribution dynamics.,
