Job Summary : The Head – New Store Opening (Retail Pharma) will lead the end-to-end setup and launch of new pharmacy outlets. This includes managing cross-functional teams, regulatory compliance, vendor coordination, and ensuring timely, compliant, cost-effective openings aligning with healthcare retail standards. Key Responsibilities 1. New Store Launch Strategy: Develop and execute a PAN India new store expansion roadmap in alignment with retail pharmacy growth targets. 2. Lead the Business Development(Real Estate) team in procuring the right property at the right price at the right location across PAN India in alignment with the New Store launch strategy. 3. Project Coordination: Oversee site readiness, from civil work and design to IT system integration and staff onboarding. 4. Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with HR, Supply Chain, Legal, and Compliance teams for store readiness. 5 . Budgeting & Control: Develop and manage budgets for new store openings, ensuring cost-effectiveness. 6. Team Readiness: Coordinate recruitment, induction, and training of pharmacists and retail staff. 7 . Regulatory Compliance: Ensure procurement of drug licenses, pharmacy registrations, and other regulatory approvals. 8. Post-Launch Review: Post-launch review to identify process gaps and improvement areas. 9. Team Management: Build, lead, and mentor large, high-performing teams across multiple locations in India." Key Skills & Qualifications 12–15 years of experience in retail business development(New Store Expansion). Deep knowledge of pharmacy compliance, storage norms, and prescription handling.
