Role: L&D Head Key Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive Learning and Development (L&D) strategy aligned with business objectives, clinical excellence standards, and healthcare regulations. Partner with executive leadership to assess organizational needs, identify skill gaps, and prioritize learning interventions. Champion a learning culture that supports innovation, continuous improvement, and employee empowerment across clinical, administrative, and operational domains. Collaborate closely with the Talent Management, Clinical Excellence, and Quality Assurance teams to ensure alignment with broader organizational strategies. Program Design and Implementation: Lead the design, development, and delivery of core training programs, including clinical education, leadership development, onboarding, soft skills, and technical upskilling. Implement competency-based training frameworks for different employee segments (clinical staff, physicians, administrative staff, senior management). Manage the Learning Management System (LMS) and digital learning platforms, ensuring high-quality content delivery and user engagement. Introduce innovative learning methodologies (e.g., microlearning, simulation-based learning, blended learning models) suited to the healthcare environment. Compliance and Accreditation: Ensure all mandatory training programs comply with regulatory bodies such as JCI, NABH, and other relevant healthcare authorities. Maintain accurate training records and documentation to support audits and accreditation processes. Develop continuing education programs and professional certifications to maintain clinical and administrative licensures. Measurement and Evaluation: Define KPIs and success metrics for all L&D initiatives. Conduct regular training effectiveness evaluations (e.g., Kirkpatrick model) and modify programs based on feedback and learning outcomes. Present periodic reports and dashboards to senior leadership on learning impact, ROI, and future training needs. Team Leadership and Vendor Management: Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing team of L&D professionals, clinical trainers, and administrative coordinators. Manage relationships with external consultants, academic partners, and learning vendors to enhance program quality and scalability. Control L&D budget and optimize resource allocation for maximum efficiency and impact.
