Role & responsibilities

Strategic Leadership and Planning

• IT Strategy Development:

  Develop and execute an IT strategy that aligns with the organizations business goals and objectives, ensuring cohesive management of applications, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and SAP.

• Technology Vision:

  Define the technology vision and roadmap for applications, infrastructure, and cybersecurity, guiding the organization through digital transformation and technological advancements.

2.Applications Management

• Application Strategy:

  Oversee the selection, implementation, and management of enterprise applications, ensuring they meet business needs and deliver value.

• Application Development:

  Supervise the development and maintenance of custom applications, ensuring they are scalable, secure, and aligned with business processes.

• Application Integration:

  Ensure seamless integration of applications with existing systems and data sources to enhance operational efficiency.

• Vendor Management:

  Manage relationships with application vendors and service providers, ensuring performance and service levels meet organizational standards.

3.Infrastructure Management

• Infrastructure Strategy:

  Develop and implement strategies for IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, storage, and data canters , to support organizational operations and growth.

• System Reliability:

  Ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of IT infrastructure, including proactive monitoring and maintenance.

• Capacity Planning:

  Conduct capacity planning and scalability assessments to meet future growth and technology needs.

• Cost Management:

  Optimize infrastructure costs through efficient resource management and strategic investments in technology.

4.Cybersecurity Oversight

• Cybersecurity Strategy:

  Develop and enforce a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy to protect the organizations data and IT assets from threats and vulnerabilities.

• Risk Management:

  Identify and assess cybersecurity risks, implementing mitigation strategies to safeguard against potential breaches.

• Compliance:

  Ensure compliance with relevant cybersecurity regulations and standards

• Incident Response:

  Oversee incident response and recovery plans, ensuring quick and effective action in the event of a cybersecurity incident or breach.

SAP Management

• SAP Strategy:

  Develop and manage the SAP strategy, including implementation, configuration, and optimization of SAP modules to support business processes.

• SAP Integration:

  Ensure seamless integration of SAP with other enterprise systems and applications to streamline operations and improve data accuracy.

• SAP Upgrades:

  Oversee SAP upgrades, patches, and enhancements, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.

• User Support:

  Provide support and training for SAP users, addressing issues and optimizing system performance.

6.Sales Force Enablement

• Sales Tools and Platforms:

  Deploy and manage sales force automation (SFA) tools and customer relationship management (CRM) systems to improve sales processes, track performance, and enhance customer interactions.

• Mobile Solutions:

  Implement mobile solutions and applications that enable the sales force to access real-time data, customer information, and sales tools while on the go.

• Training and Support:

  Provide training and ongoing support for sales tools and technologies to ensure maximum adoption and effectiveness

7.Dealer and Distribution Network Optimization

• Dealer Management Systems:

  Implement and manage dealer management systems (DMS) to streamline operations, improve communication, and enhance collaboration with dealers.

• Supply Chain Integration:

  Integrate IT systems with supply chain and logistics operations to improve inventory management, order processing, and delivery tracking.

• Performance Analytics:

  Develop and utilize analytics tools to monitor dealer performance, identify trends, and optimize distribution strategies.

Data Management and Analytics

• Data Strategy:

  Develop a robust data strategy to collect, integrate, and analyse data from various sources, including sales, dealers, and distribution channels.

• Customer Insights:

  Utilize data analytics to gain insights into customer behaviour, preferences, and trends, enabling more targeted and effective sales and marketing efforts.

• Performance Metrics:

  Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and dashboards to monitor sales performance, dealer effectiveness, and overall business health

9.Team Leadership and Development

• IT Leadership:

  Lead and manage IT teams responsible for applications, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and SAP, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.

• Talent Management:

  Recruit, develop, and retain skilled IT professionals, providing training and development opportunities to enhance team capabilities.

• Performance Management:

  Set performance goals and evaluate the performance of IT staff, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.

. Financial Management

• Budget Planning:

  Develop and manage the IT budget, including costs associated with applications, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and SAP.

• Cost Optimization:

  Implement cost control measures and identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.

Stakeholder Communication and Collaboration

• Stakeholder Engagement:

  Communicate IT strategies, initiatives, and performance to senior leadership, board members, and other stakeholders.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  Collaborate with other departments and business units to ensure IT solutions support their needs and drive business value.

Preferred candidate profile

• Professional Experience:

  Proven experience / min 7 plus years of experience in senior IT leadership roles, with a track record of leading digital transformation, and managing IT solutions for sales force, dealer, and distribution networks.

• Technical Skills:

  Expertise in IT infrastructure, cloud computing, ERP systems (especially SAP), CRM, SFA tools, and cybersecurity best practices.

• Leadership:

  Strong strategic thinking, team leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills.

• Analytical Skills:

  Ability to leverage data for decision-making and problem-solving.

• Innovation:

  Awareness of technology trends and a commitment to continuous improvement.
