GM / AVP - Plant Commercial

Role & responsibilities

1.

• Manpower planning and acquisition of manpower as per required skill set
• On boarding of the employee with proper facility management .
• Heading all activities of commercial, HR and admin functions at plant.
• Ensure all legal compliances and license of Company viz factory license, weight and measurement, consent to operate, bank guarantee, UGVCL,WC, GPCB etc
• Ensure the contractors Labour license, Work Order , negotiation , MOU.
• Proper maintenance of dormitory, plant and their precincts
• Housekeeping of plant , road dormitory and office areas on regular basis.
• Interaction with HOD for day to day HR related work and resolves it.
• Proper allocation of contractual labour, their labour licence and agreement .
• Speedily handling complaints and grievance of the employee
• Managing dormitory, Canteen and guest houses , pantry etc attached to plants

2.

• Raw material inward and issuance to the user deptts
• Unloading of the RM after Quality check and preparation of GRN
• Placement of RM at the designated place at store and annex.
• Inventory Ageing Analysis and disposal
• Maintenance of the Scrap yard and disposal of scrap to the vendors

• Monitoring of round the clock dispatch billing system
• Coordinate with billing department related to Export or GST matter.
• Plan logistics inwards/outwards for raw material and finished goods
• Liaisoning with the GST department
• Managing logistic park ( truck /container park ) and control their movements

4.

• Well versed with security of large Plant / Park
• Deploy innovative methods for upgrading security systems

5.

• Land acquisition for new /green field projects
• Liaison with state /central govt for commissioning of new projects
• Collaboration with the project team for new/expansion project and their facility mgt
• Collaboration with finance /accounts team for the financial closure of the project
• Hand holding of the plant commercial heads at multi locations
• Liaisoning with villagers , panchayat officers
• Liaisoning with local and district authorities - DM, Police station etc

6.

• Postgraduate /graduate / CA / ICWA / BE in any discipline
• Hands on experience of the relevant functions for more than 20 years as head plant commercial in like or relevant manufacturing industries having age group of 40- 50 years .

7.

• Good communication skills in Hindi /English /Gujarati
• Amicable attractive personality with good interactive skills
• Good in negotiation skills
• Have passion and competency to lead the large team of professionals
