Job Summary We are looking for a skilled Senior Quality Engineer for Kubernetes Applications to join our QA Team. In this role, youll take ownership of designing and executing test strategies for applications deployed on Kubernetes clusters. Your work will be critical in validating system behavior under real-world conditions focusing on scalability, resilience, performance, and security. You ll collaborate closely with development and product teams to integrate testing into CI/CD workflows and help shape robust, production-ready software systems. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and execute test plans for applications running on Kubernetes. Automate test cases using CI/CD tools and frameworks. Validate Kubernetes deployment manifests (Helm charts, Kustomize, etc.) and application configurations. Perform load testing, stress testing, failover testing, and security testing in Kubernetes environments. Troubleshoot environment-related issues, analyze logs, and support root cause analysis. Collaborate with developers teams to define test strategies for microservices. Ensure test environments mirror production as closely as possible. Monitor cluster health, pod behavior, and application performance during testing. Integrate test automation with GitOps/CI-CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, ArgoCD, GitHub Actions). Participate in sprint planning and contribute to quality-focused discussions. 7+ years of experience in Automation Testing. Required Qualifications: 3+ years of experience in QA or software testing roles, with a strong focus on cloud-native apps. Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and containerized application testing. Proficiency in writing automated test scripts (e.g., using Python, Bash, Go, or similar). Experience with tools like Helm, kubectl, Prometheus, Grafana, and K9s. Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices. Understanding of Kubernetes networking, service meshes, and resource limits. Good knowledge of microservices architecture and REST APIs. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Bonus Skills Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD). Reports To: Chief Product Officer We re hiring a Principal Product Manager to lead the strategy and roadmap for the Aerospike Kubernetes Operator (AKO) a foundational part of how we deploy, operate, and scale Aerospike in Kubernetes environments. This is a high-impact IC role at the center of our product delivery model, touching both self-managed deployments and Aerospike Cloud. AKO is already GA and widely adopted. It s used extensively by enterprise customers in production and serves as the control plane for our managed cloud offering. Your job is to evolve it into a world-class Kubernetes Operator with a clear roadmap, strong business alignment, and a focus on long-term quality and adoption. Key Responsibilities Product Ownership Own the end-to-end roadmap for the Aerospike Kubernetes Operator including architectural direction, cross-product integration, and feature evolution. Ensure AKO continues to meet the needs of self-managed Kubernetes users while enabling Aerospike Cloud to scale reliably and predictably. Drive investment clarity by articulating what s required to build and scale key features including engineering scope, sequencing, and expected customer or business impact. Own and maintain business reporting for the product including usage metrics, adoption trends, and roadmap visibility and ensure stakeholders have a clear, up-to-date view of what s planned and why. Execution & Quality Work directly with engineering to define and deliver high-quality features across deployment automation, lifecycle operations, upgrades, and observability.
