Role & Responsibilities : Develop and implement comprehensive strategies and initiatives Developing strategies for labor management, workforce optimization, and cost reduction Employee & Workmen grievances redressal & resolution Contract labour Management fostering productive environment Legal Compliance and Risk Management Union Management including collective bargaining, agreement & settlement Develop Policy & Procedure to foster positive labour management Ensuring Employee Welfare adhering labour Laws Long Term Settlement for Wages, Bonus, School & Welfare Amenities Oversee employee relations and drive engagement initiatives Initiate & Sustain employee health, safety, and wellness programs Timely completion of performance management process Lead learning & development programs for all the workmen category Handle Litigations related to land & legal Full & final settlements after employee exit Supporting the organization through restructuring, downsizing, mergers Advocacy & Representation in external forums Build strong Industrial relation & networking by effectively maintaining good liaisoning with External Stakeholders Such as Government Officials, Courts Advocates, NGOs, MP & MLAs, Local Administrations & Political Leaders, Labour & Factories Authorities Handling Manpower, Capital, Revenue and Welfare budget and cost optimization measures for the Unit, Implementing cost effective major . Location: Chandigarh Experience : 20 yrs + The ideal candidate must be capable of independently handling Labour laws ,union management , managing union relations, and driving strategic HR initiatives in an industrial environment. Key Responsibilities & Requirements: Proven experience in Employee Relations (ER) & Industrial Relations (IR) Hands-on expertise in wage negotiations and union handling Exposure to land matters, compliance, and contract management Strong grasp of HR processes and statutory requirements , Strong knowledge of Labour laws.
