Job Description

Position: Head Plant HR, (DGM Level)

Location: Nalagarh , India (Plant-based)

Reports to: Plant Head & CHRO

Key Responsibilities

Human Resources (HR)

Lead end-to-end HR operations at the plant including recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management.
Drive employee development, engagement, retention strategies, and succession planning.
Ensure compliance with labor laws, HR policies, and statutory requirements.
Implement HR systems and digitization initiatives aligned with corporate strategy.
Build a high performance and quality culture
Driver diversity agenda
Track and maintain HR dashboards, budgeting, audits

Industrial Relations (IR)

Maintain harmonious industrial relations .
Handle grievance redressal.
Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws (Factories Act, ID Act, etc.).
Liaise with government bodies and labor departments as needed.

Administration

Oversee plant-level administration including security, housekeeping, transport, canteen, and facility management.
Ensure cost-effective and efficient administrative operations.
Manage contracts and vendor relationships for administrative services.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in
Human Resources
,
Labor Law
, or
Industrial Relations
(MBA/PGDM preferred).
10–12 years
of experience in HR/IR/Admin roles, preferably in pharma or manufacturing.
Strong knowledge of
labor laws and forward looking candidate who has a gravitas to handle a team of 6 people and coach and guide other leaders in the plant
