Role Overview

Seeking a mid‑to‑senior professional with 10–15 years of exclusive experience in equity fund raising to lead capital raising for renewable energy platforms (Battery Energy Storage Systems, Solar, Wind). The role involves platform‑level and project‑level equity transactions with global investors including climate funds, sovereign wealth funds, pension funds, strategic energy investors, family offices, and infrastructure PE funds.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute end‑to‑end equity fund raising for renewable platforms.
• Drive investor outreach to PE funds, climate funds, sovereign wealth funds, pension funds, and strategic investors.
• Prepare and manage pitch decks, IMs, financial models, and data rooms.
• Lead valuation discussions, term sheet negotiations, and transaction closures.
• Provide inputs on capital structure, valuation benchmarks, equity dilution, and fund‑raise strategy.
• Coordinate with legal, tax, technical, and regulatory advisors for deal execution.
• Support investor meetings, roadshows, and relationship management.

Candidate Profile

Experience

• 10–15 years of hands‑on equity fund raising (mandatory).
• Proven track record of closed equity transactions.
• Prior exposure to renewable energy, infrastructure, or power sectors.
• Familiarity with IPP models, SPV structures, and platform‑level equity investments.
• Strong investor interface experience with climate‑focused investors, family offices, and infra‑PE.

Education (Mandatory)

• B.Tech + MBA (Tier‑1 B‑School), OR
• MBA + CFA, OR
• CA + CFA

Key Skills

• Equity fund raising, valuation, and deal structuring expertise.
• Knowledge of renewable energy business models and project economics.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management.
• Ability to independently manage transactions with attention to detail.
• High integrity, professionalism, and execution orientation.
