Role Objective

Lead and manage the end-to-end Business Correspondent (BC) operations to ensure seamless delivery of banking services through BC partners/agents, drive financial inclusion goals, and maintain compliance with regulatory guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategy & Planning:

  • Develop and implement BC channel strategy to expand rural/under-banked outreach.
  • Forecast and allocate budgets, resources, and KPIs for BC operations.

  • Operations Management:

  • Oversee onboarding, training, and monitoring of BC agents and partner organizations.
  • Ensure smooth cash management, transaction processing, and service delivery at BC outlets.

  • Compliance & Risk Control:

  • Ensure adherence to RBI and bank policies, AML/KYC norms, and information security standards.
  • Monitor fraud risk, conduct audits, and implement corrective actions.

  • Technology & Process:

  • Liaise with IT teams for CBS/AEPS/UPI integration and system uptime.
  • Drive process automation, MIS reporting, and performance dashboards.

  • Performance Management:

  • Set targets, review productivity, and implement incentive programs for BC agents.
  • Conduct regular field visits and partner reviews.

  • Stakeholder Coordination:

  • Work with product, marketing, and compliance teams for new initiatives.
  • Manage relationships with external BC network partners and regulators
