Head - Accounts & Taxation

As the Head of Accounts & Taxation at the company located in Borivali East, you will play a crucial role in managing the entire Accounts, Finance, and Taxation functions. Your responsibilities will include: - Leading and managing the Accounts & Taxation team to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timeliness. - Overseeing accounting operations such as finalization of accounts, MIS reporting, and statutory compliance. - Ensuring compliance with all Direct and Indirect tax laws, including Income Tax, GST, TDS, and other applicable regulations. - Handling tax assessments, audits, and effectively liaising with regulatory authorities. - Developing tax-efficient strategies while ensuring full compliance. - Managing budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes. - Implementing proper internal controls and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. - Supporting management with financial analysis, decision-making, and strategic planning. - Coordinating with statutory auditors, internal auditors, and external consultants. - Driving automation and process improvement initiatives within accounts and taxation functions. Qualifications Required: - CA qualification - 5 to 10 years of experience in the Real Estate Sector Key Skills Required: - Strong knowledge of Accounting Standards, Direct & Indirect Taxation (Income Tax, GST, TDS, etc.) - Expertise in tax planning, assessments, and regulatory compliance - Proven experience in finalization of accounts, MIS, and audits - Leadership & team management skills - Strong analytical and problem-solving ability - Proficiency in ERP/accounting systems and MS Excel - Excellent communication and stakeholder management In case of any additional details about the company, they are not included in the provided job description.,
