Description
As a Hardware IT Support Engineer at Sundaram Technologies, you will play a crucial role in providing technical support and ensuring optimal system functionality for clients across India. Your responsibilities will include: - Providing timely and accurate technical support via phone, email, or chat to address customer inquiries and issues. - Troubleshooting and resolving hardware issues for desktops, laptops, printers, and networking equipment. - Guiding users through product features, assisting with configuration and setup, and documenting hardware and system problems. - Maintaining detailed records of technical issues, customer interactions, and managing complaints for prompt resolution. - Communicating customer feedback and hardware improvement suggestions to internal teams. - Notifying users about firmware updates, feature changes, and system upgrades. - Supporting in the training and mentoring of new technical support staff. - Utilizing basic knowledge of MySQL/SQL databases to support issue resolution. - Traveling to customer sites across India for hardware installation, troubleshooting, or repair services. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Applications (BCA/MCA) or related field. - Minimum of 1 year of experience in hardware or IT support roles. - Strong understanding of computer hardware, networking, and basic database systems. - Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. - Willingness to travel as required for onsite support. Please note that this is a full-time, permanent position with benefits such as food provided and Provident Fund. The work location is in person at Akota, Baroda, with willingness to travel across PAN India.
