Hardware Support Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain

  hardware infrastructure

  supporting enterprise middleware environments.
• Install, configure, and administer

  WebLogic Server

  ,

  JBoss EAP

  , and

  Apache Kafka

  clusters on enterprise-grade hardware.
• Collaborate with application and database teams to ensure

  optimal performance

  of

  Oracle Fusion Middleware

  and associated components.
• Troubleshoot

  hardware, network, and middleware integration issues

  , ensuring high availability and scalability.
• Support deployment and upgrade activities for Oracle Fusion applications.
  
• Monitor system performance, conduct capacity planning, and implement improvements.
  
• Develop and maintain

  system documentation

  , including configuration baselines, architecture diagrams, and troubleshooting guides.
• Work closely with IT operations to ensure compliance with

  security

  ,

  backup

  disaster recovery

  policies.

  Role & responsibilities

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors or Master’s degree in

  Electronics, Computer Engineering, or related field

  .
• 2-4 years of experience in

  hardware engineering

  , system administration, or enterprise middleware support.
• Hands-on experience with:
  

• Oracle WebLogic Server

  administration and clustering

• JBoss / WildFly

  configuration and tuning

• Apache Kafka

  setup, producer-consumer configurations, and performance tuning

• Oracle Fusion Middleware

  components (SOA Suite, WebCenter, etc.)
• Strong knowledge of

  Linux/Unix systems

  ,

  networking

  , and

  storage architectures

  .
• Familiarity with

  virtualization platforms

  (VMware, Oracle VM, or KVM).
• Understanding of

  scripting languages

  (Shell, Python, or Ansible) for automation.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
