Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Hardware Integration Engineer at Tekiknow Technologies India Pvt Ltd. The Hardware Integration Engineer will be interface various instruments using ethernet or serial communication protocols and create a sequence of control and execution facility with convenient User interface application. The engineer will be responsible for daily tasks related to analytical skills, troubleshooting, software development, integration, systems engineering and documentation. This role is based in Chennai which requires to work at customer site all over india depends the test facility and equipment availability.

Skills required:

1. Python Programming – Strong proficiency in Python, including libraries like pyserial, numpy, opencv and scipy for data processing.
2. Hardware Communication – Experience with protocols like UART, SPI, I2C, and GPIB for interfacing with measurement instruments.
3. Basic Electronics - Resistors, Capacitor, Relays, Amplifiers, Motors, Drivers, opto electronics, relays, limit switches, sensors and switches.
4. Instrument Control – Familiarity with SCPI commands and tools like NI-VISA, PyVISA, and LabVIEW for automated measurements.
5. Data Acquisition & Processing – Ability to handle real-time data acquisition, filtering, signal /image processing and analysis.
6. Automation & Sequencing – Knowledge of test automation frameworks and sequencer tools for executing measurement sequences.
7. Embedded Systems & Microcontrollers – Understanding of firmware development and integration with microcontrollers.
8. Signal Processing & Calibration – Ability to interpret sensor data, apply calibration techniques, and optimize measurement accuracy.
