Job Description

As a Hardware Board PCB design engineer at A&W Engineering Works, your role will involve leveraging your skills and knowledge in hardware product development cycles. You will be responsible for designing high-speed boards and working with various protocols such as PCIe, USB3.0, MIPI CSI/DSI, LVDS, HDMI, DDR3/4, SD/eMMC, NAND, SPI/I2C. Additionally, you will work with peripherals like Image sensors, LCD displays, and Flash memory. Key Responsibilities: - Work on various stages of hardware product development cycles - Design high-speed boards and work with protocols like PCIe, USB3.0, MIPI CSI/DSI, etc. - Work with peripherals such as Image sensors, LCD displays, and Flash memory - Conduct Timing, Pre, and Post Signal Integrity Analysis - Design board power supply including Switching and linear regulators - Implement board design guidelines and consider EMI/EMC aspects - Perform board bring-up, functional testing, DVT measurements, and validation - Utilize EDA tools like Cadence Orcad, Allegro, Visio, Altium - Conduct board-level testing using lab instruments like Function generator, Oscilloscope, Multimeter - Ensure boards mechanical fitment - Demonstrate excellent analytical and problem-solving skills - Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams Qualifications Required: - 3+ years of experience in hardware board PCB design - Proficiency in protocols such as PCIe, USB3.0, MIPI CSI/DSI, etc. - Hands-on experience with EDA tools like Cadence Orcad, Allegro, Visio, Altium - Strong knowledge of Timing, Signal Integrity Analysis, and power supply design - Ability to perform board-level testing using lab instruments - Effective communication skills and a good team player About A&W Engineering Works: A&W Engineering Works is dedicated to developing and deploying innovative solutions to real-world problems.
