Job Description

HAM Analyst IT Hardware

Specific Responsibilities:

Skilled at Deconstructing Legacy Hardware asset data into tool understandable formats
Able to put Model, location in tool understandable formats
Could do Manual data updates to the tool (Install, Move, Add, Change and Decommission)
Able to configure tool: Access roles, Organization structure creation, Business unit mapping
Reconciliation between asset module and discovery source
Knowledge on create contracts and purchase order entries within the tool
Validates requirements to create and modify IT hardware asset and Configuration records and associated contract records.
Manually creates or modifies IT hardware asset records and associated contract records in appropriate repository.
Bulk loads and updates IT hardware asset records, contracts, maintenance agreements and associated relationships into the IT asset repository.
Initiates requests to update master data registries (e.g. product brands and models) to enable creation or modification of IT asset record.
Support client ITAM implementation activities
EOL Debt report creation for Asset and discuss the plan for refresh and update the dependency for refresh

Qualifications:

Any Degree with 6-8 years of experience working on enterprise HAM tools like CA Asset Manager and ServiceNow
ITIL V3 foundation certified (Good to Have)
HAM certification preferred (e.g., IAITAM Certified Hardware Asset Manager) – Good to have
