Job Description

Lead BlackLine Functional System Administrator

Role & responsibilities

Act as
BlackLine System Administrator and Functional SME
for global users.
Lead and support
BlackLine implementations, change requests (CHR), and enhancements
.
Manage application maintenance, upgrades, testing, UAT, and production support.
Ensure smooth
month-end and year-end close
by monitoring interfaces and resolving issues.
Configure and support
Account Reconciliations (BSR), Journals (JE/MJE), Transaction Matching, Account Rules
.
Troubleshoot user issues through
ServiceNow
and provide timely resolution.
Collaborate with
SAP/ERP teams
for integrations and data accuracy.
Drive
process automation and operational efficiency
within the financial close process.
Conduct user trainings and support deployment for new entities.
Work closely with global business stakeholders, auditors, and IT teams.

Preferred candidate profile

5+ years of hands-on experience on BlackLine
(System Admin + Functional).
BlackLine implementation experience is mandatory
.
Strong understanding of
finance processes, internal controls, and month-end close
.
Experience with
SAP / ERP systems
and BlackLine integrations.
Hands-on experience with
UAT, upgrades, testing, and production support
.
Excellent communication and
stakeholder management skills
.

Good to Have:

BlackLine certifications.
Exposure to
global implementations and large user bases
.
Experience with
process automation / continuous improvement initiatives
.
Project management exposure.
