Role Responsibilities Conduct thorough consultations and examinations for patients. Diagnose and treat various gynecological and obstetric conditions. Provide prenatal, antenatal, and postnatal care to expectant mothers. Perform surgical procedures, including cesarean sections and hysterectomies. Manage obstetric emergencies effectively and efficiently. Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care. Educate patients on reproductive health and family planning. Carry out regular follow-up appointments and health screenings. Maintain detailed and accurate medical records for all patients. Participate in training and mentoring of junior staff and medical trainees. Stay updated on the latest research and advancements in gynecology and obstetrics. Advocate for women’s health initiatives within the community. Ensure compliance with medical regulations and hospital protocols. Work closely with lab staff to interpret test results for better patient management. Involve in departmental meetings and contribute to policy development. Qualifications MBBS degree from a recognized medical institution. Postgraduate degree in Obstetrics and Gynecology (MS/DGO). Minimum of 5 years of experience in the field. Valid medical license to practice in India. Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to handle high-stress situations. Proficient in performing a range of gynecological and obstetric surgeries. Experience in managing high-risk pregnancies. Knowledge of current medical practices and procedures. Familiarity with patient management software. Commitment to continuous professional development. Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
