Guest Service Associate Housekeeping

GSA Housekeeping acts as the primary communication link between guests and the Housekeeping department. This role is responsible for efficiently handling and coordinating all guest requests, maintaining accurate room status, and ensuring prompt resolution of service issues.

Responsibilities

• Communication Hub:

  Answer all incoming calls to the Housekeeping office promptly and professionally, logging and prioritizing all guest requests (e.g., amenities, towels, extra services).

• Request Dispatch:

  Efficiently dispatch requests to the appropriate Housekeeping Associates, Supervisors, or Engineering team members and ensure timely

  follow-up

  to confirm task completion.

• Room Status Management:

  Constantly monitor and update the

  room status inventory

  (e.g., Clean, Dirty, Inspected) in the

  Property Management System (PMS)

  , ensuring real-time accuracy and seamless communication with the Front Office.

• Guest Liaison:

  Handle guest inquiries and minor complaints related to room cleanliness or amenities with patience and professionalism, escalating complex issues to the Housekeeping Supervisor.

• Administrative Support:

  Assist with preparing daily room attendant assignment sheets, tracking

  attendance

  and break times, and managing the issuance and collection of keys and communication devices.

• Documentation:

  Maintain meticulous records of guest preferences,

  lost and found items

  , and maintenance work orders.
