Job Summary

A guest service associate in a restaurant provides friendly and efficient customer service, ensuring guests have a positive dining experience. This role involves greeting customers, taking orders, answering menu questions, handling payments, and supporting daily restaurant operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests upon arrival and assist with seating or ordering
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems
• Answer guest questions about the menu, ingredients, or promotions
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and correct order delivery
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, service counters, and workstations
• Resolve guest concerns professionally and escalate issues when needed
• Handle payments and issue receipts
• Assist with restocking, opening, and closing duties
• Follow all restaurant hygiene, safety, and service standards

Requirements

• Good communication and customer service skills
• Friendly and professional attitude
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Basic math and cash-handling ability
• Experience in customer service or hospitality is helpful but not required
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform light physical tasks
• Familiarity with POS systems is an advantage

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
