Guest Faculty-Fare Calculation

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct classroom sessions on Fare Calculation, Ticketing, and Airline Tariff Principles for aviation students.
• Explain IATA fare construction methods, mileage systems, and international routing principles.
• Provide hands-on training in manual and computerized fare calculation, using industry examples and case studies.
• Guide students in understanding global distribution systems (GDS) concepts related to fare and ticketing.
• Prepare and deliver lesson plans, training materials, and assessment tools.
• Evaluate student performance through assignments, tests, and practical assessments.
• Stay updated on latest industry changes in fare rules, ticketing, and airline regulations.
• Coordinate with the academic team to ensure course content quality and timely delivery.
• Encourage professional ethics, punctuality, and discipline among students.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Graduate or Diploma in Aviation, Air Ticketing, or Travel & Tourism.
• Certification in IATA/UFTAA or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in fare calculation, ticketing, or aviation training.
• Strong understanding of IATA geography, airline codes, and fare rules.
• Prior teaching or training experience will be an added advantage.

Skills Required:

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical and numerical ability for fare and route calculation.
• Familiarity with airline software or GDS systems (Amadeus, Galileo, Sabre, etc.).
• Passion for teaching and guiding students toward aviation careers.
• Ability to maintain discipline and create an engaging learning environment.

Work Type:

Part-time / Hourly Basis (Guest Faculty Engagement)

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: ₹450.00 - ₹700.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 6 per week

Experience:

• Amadeus: 3 years (Required)
• Teaching AVIATION : 1 year (Required)
