GST Compliance Executive

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and file

  monthly, quarterly, and annual GST returns

  (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, GSTR-9C, etc.) within statutory deadlines.
• Reconcile

  GSTR-2B with purchase registers

  and coordinate with vendors for mismatches or discrepancies.
• Handle

  GST payments, input tax credit (ITC)

  computations, and ensure correct availment and utilization.
• Monitor

  e-invoicing and e-way bill

  compliance as per applicable turnover thresholds.
• Liaise with internal teams for tax data and documentation, including invoices, purchase orders, and accounting records.
• Assist in

  GST audits, departmental assessments

  , and respond to notices, inquiries, or summons from GST authorities.
• Keep abreast of

  changes in GST laws, notifications, circulars, and case laws

  , and advise management accordingly.
• Maintain organized records of tax filings, challans, reconciliations, and other compliance documents for audit purposes.
• Coordinate with external consultants, auditors, and tax authorities as required.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree

  in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field (CA Inter / MBA Finance is a plus).
• 2–4 years of experience in GST compliance, preferably in a corporate or consulting environment.
• Strong knowledge of

  Indian GST laws

  , rules, return filing processes, and reconciliation procedures.
• Proficient in using

  Excel

  , accounting software (Tally, SAP, Zoho, etc.), and the

  GSTN portal

  .
• Analytical, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple deadlines.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
