You will lead a team including AP and AR professionals and leverage the latest finance tech tools to streamline operations, reduce costs, improve profitability, and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting.
About
We are seeking a highly skilled Group Finance Controller with Big 4 experience and a proven track record of managing complex international finance operations. This role will oversee the end-to-end accounting function across our group of companies in various countries and ensure compliance with global financial regulations. You will lead a lean team including AP and AR professionals and leverage the latest finance tech tools to streamline operations, reduce costs, improve profitability, and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Leadership
    o Own end-to-end accounting across multiple international entities. o Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes across the group. o Manage intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and transfer pricing compliance.
  • Profitability Cost Management
    o Identify areas of financial leakage and inefficiencies across the group. o Drive strategies to improve margins and reduce operational costs. o Partner with business leaders to provide financial insights that drive decision-making.
  • Compliance Controls
    o Ensure compliance with statutory requirements in all jurisdictions (taxation, audit, legal, etc.). o Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies. o Implement and monitor strong internal controls and risk management processes.
  • Team Technology Oversight
    o Lead and develop the AP and AR team members, fostering accountability and continuous improvement. o Optimize use of technology to ensure efficient and scalable finance operations. o Evaluate and implement new tech solutions to stay ahead of the curve in financial management.
  • Strategic Finance
    o Support strategic planning, forecasting, and budgeting activities. o Contribute to financial modeling and investment analysis for business expansion or restructuring. o Prepare executive dashboards and reports for the leadership team and board.

Key Requirements

  • Qualified CPA, semi CA or equivalent.
  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in accounting and financial control, with at
    least 4+ years in a Big 4 firm (EY, PwC, Deloitte, KPMG).
  • Hands-on experience managing multi-entity, multi-country finance operations.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS, international compliance, and tax structures.
  • Proficient with modern accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks), and data
    visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage remote and cross-cultural
    teams.
  • Analytical mindset with a commercial approach to problem-solving.
