Job Description

Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Google Ads Audit Consultant to conduct in-depth audits of our existing ad accounts and provide actionable insights to improve campaign performance. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on knowledge of Google Ads, deep analytical capabilities, and a strong understanding of paid search strategy. We prioritize real-world expertise over certifications. Key Responsibilities: Perform comprehensive audits of Google Ads accounts (Search, Display, Shopping, and/or YouTube). Evaluate campaign structure, bidding strategies, keyword targeting, quality scores, ad relevance, landing pages, and conversion tracking. Identify performance gaps, inefficiencies, and areas for optimization or cost savings. Analyze account history, trends, and audience segmentation to uncover missed opportunities. Deliver detailed audit reports with clear, prioritized recommendations and implementation strategies. Communicate findings effectively to stakeholders—both technical and non-technical. Requirements: Proven experience auditing and managing Google Ads accounts of various sizes and industries. In-depth knowledge of Google Ads interface, campaign types, bidding strategies, and metrics. Strong analytical skills and proficiency with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and conversion tracking. Ability to clearly articulate complex findings and present them in a concise, actionable format. Familiarity with ecommerce, lead generation, or B2B/B2C advertising models. Google Ads certification is a bonus but not required —we value real results and hands-on knowledge. Preferred Qualifications: Experience using audit tools or scripts to automate parts of the audit process. Background in CRO (Conversion Rate Optimization), landing page analysis, or A/B testing is a plus. Prior experience working with agencies, startups, or high-growth brands.
