The Practice- A Brief Sketch: The Sustainability Strategy Practice is a part of Accenture Strategy and focuses on the CEO's most strategic priorities. We help organizations embed sustainability into every area of their businesses to enable them to unlock greater value through responsible transformations. As a part of this high performing team, these are some of the areas you will consult clients on: Sustainable Business Strategy:Work closely with clients to understand their vision andhelp them embed sustainability into their strategy and operations Value Driven Business Models:Work together with clients to help make their businessoperations economically beneficial while being cognizant of socio-environmentalimplications. Develop Sustainability Road-Maps:Develop business model and implementation roadmaps for sustainable strategies based on analytics-based insights for areas such ascircular economy, net zero emissions, sustainable development goals, renewable energy,etc. Industry Partner Alliances:Work with notable organizations like UN, WEF, FICCI andprominent business leaders to shape sustainable business agendas. Different aspects of low-carbon energy:Deep-dive with understanding of differentaspects of low-carbon energy transition and be able to drive conversations aroundcarbon neutrality / decarbonization Helping clients pivot to responsible business strategies:Craft go-to market plans,entry strategies for companies looking to imbibe responsibility in their business strategy Sustainable technology:Work with clients to help them gauge the environmentfootprint of their technology and suggest strategies to reduce itRead more about us. MBA from a tier 1 institute with work experience in consulting or related fields (preferrable) Strategic & Consulting Mindset - Ability to work on complex client problems and recommendinnovative approaches and solutions Skillset to analyse large amounts of qualitative and quantitative data to draw insights andtrends Structured problem solving and strong analytical skills Ability to present the recommendations in a compelling narrative through client readydeliverables. Excellent communication skills and ability to leverage that to for project delivery andstakeholder management Building on relationships with potential and existing clients and be responsible for businessdevelopment in assigned areas Potential to work with diverse teams and to be able to foster learning, exchange andinnovation Grasp of MS power point, Excel and Word is important. Experience in one or more categories listed below will bepreferred.What are we looking for Good to have!AREA 1:Sustainability Strategy Knowledge of key sustainability topics like renewable energy, carbon emissions, circulareconomy, SDGs and international development to name a few Understanding and experience in helping clients conduct LCAs, materiality assessmentsand sustainability audits Experience in creating sustainability business cases, roadmaps and overarchingstrategiesORAREA 2:Sustainable Technology Blend of business strategy and consulting with a background in digital, IT, cloud, andsustainability Understanding of IT, cloud migration and data centers, software lifecycles Well-rounded sustainability understanding in topics such as, circular economy,sustainability reporting, emissions, energy to name a few.ORAREA 3:EHS SAP Experience of working in any of the EHS platforms such as SAP, Enablon, etc. Understanding of EH&S process of resource heavy industries like Oil & Gas, Chemicals,Mining etc. Experience with gap analysis and strategic road map/blueprint development for EH&Smodules like Incident Management, Risk Assessment, Environment Management, AuditManagement and Reporting Ability to gather business requirements, understand fits and gaps w.r.t technologyplatform, high level and detailed level design and creation of functional specifications Scrum/ Agile methodology of working on user journeys and building user stories keepingthe end user in mind always; iterative mindset in design and planning, build and test andfinal Go-Live (preferred) Working on large scale digital transformation projects with cross-functional skills inbusiness strategy, business process design, configurations, build, test, roll-out and enduser training and support (preferred)ORAREA 4:ENERGY AND CARBON Strong experience of working on clean energy projects for corporates, such asonsite/offsite Power Purchase Agreements, Renewable Energy Certificates, offsets etc. An understanding of different aspects of low-carbon energy transition Deep understanding of energy landscapes of at least one key geographies, such as US,Australia, EU, India Well-rounded understanding of topics such as carbon neutrality, circular economy,sustainability reporting to name a few.ORAREA 5:RESPONSIBLE VALUE CHAIN Strong experience of working on circular economy projects in thematic areas such asplastic packaging, e-waste, textile, chemicals and metal Knowledge of regulatory landscape (e.g. extended producer responsibility, wastemanagement regulations), reverse logistics models and methodologies such as LCA andmaterial flow analysis Supplier assessments, supplier development and experience of working with Ecovadis/Trucost etc. Strong P&L modelling, business model innovation, operating model design and go-to[1]market strategy skillWhat's in it for you?
