As a General Manager (GM) for facade project operations, your role will involve overseeing the full lifecycle of facade projects including design, engineering, procurement, fabrication, and site installation. You will play a strategic and operational leadership role, ensuring high-quality execution, client satisfaction, and business growth. Your responsibilities will include: - Leading cross-functional teams and coordinating with clients, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors. - Driving project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution in line with business objectives. - Ensuring quality control, safety compliance, and adherence to industry standards. - Optimizing operational workflows to reduce delays, rework, and costs. - Monitoring project financials and profitability; preparing regular reports for senior leadership. - Supporting business development by contributing to tendering and securing new facade contracts. - Implementing process improvements and digital project management tools such as BIM and ERP. Qualifications required for this role include a strong background in facade systems (including curtain walls, cladding, glazing, and architectural envelopes), proven experience in managing teams, budgets, and timelines from concept to project completion. Additionally, experience in business development and familiarity with industry standards will be beneficial.
