Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced AutoCAD Designer – Façade to join our team. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical knowledge in façade systems, including curtain walls, cladding, glazing, aluminum panels, and other architectural envelope materials. This role requires someone capable of working independently, with a deep understanding of material behavior, construction detailing, and execution methods related to building façades. The candidate will be responsible for interpreting client and architectural requirements and translating them into precise AutoCAD production drawings for manufacturing and installation. They will collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and the production team to conceptualize and finalize technical layouts and façade details. Additionally, the role involves estimating material requirements, assisting in project budgeting, managing timelines, and ensuring that all design outputs comply with relevant structural, thermal, and aesthetic standards. The designer may also participate in material selection, preparing samples and façade material boards, and conducting quality checks to ensure the final output aligns with project specifications and client expectations. Candidates should hold a diploma or degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field, . Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory, while knowledge of Revit, Rhino, or other façade-specific software is a plus. A strong understanding of various façade materials and systems, including aluminum composite panels, glass, louvers, and structural supports, is essential. The candidate must be detail-oriented, have good project management and problem-solving skills, and possess the ability to effectively communicate design concepts and technical information with the team and stakeholders. Experience with computational or parametric design tools and BIM processes will be considered an added advantage.
