Position Summary: The General Manager – Projects will lead end-to-end project execution for large-scale residential, township, and high-rise developments. The role requires extensive technical expertise in project management, resource allocation, vendor management, and adherence to quality, safety, and timeline standards. Key Responsibilities:· Project Planning & Execution: Oversee complete project lifecycle from planning, budgeting, approvals, procurement, execution, to handover for residential/township/high-rise projects. Construction Management: Lead site teams for multiple projects, ensuring adherence to construction schedules, quality standards, regulatory norms, and safety protocols. Coordination with Consultants & Contractors: Manage relationships and coordination with architects, MEP consultants, structural engineers, contractors, and government authorities. Budgeting & Cost Control: Prepare detailed project budgets, track expenses, and implement cost-control strategies without compromising on quality. Resource Planning & Allocation: Plan manpower, machinery, and material requirements for optimal site productivity and performance. Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and implement mitigation plans to prevent delays or cost overruns. Client & Management Reporting: Provide periodic project progress reports, variance analysis, and recommendations to the management. Desired Candidate Profile: · Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering (mandatory); M.Tech/Project Management certification preferred. · Experience: Minimum 20 years in project execution with a focus on residential townships, group housing, and high-rise buildings . · Industry Exposure: Hands-on experience with reputed real estate developers or large EPC companies managing multi-crore projects. · Strong understanding of construction contracts, statutory approvals, safety regulations, and site logistics. · Exceptional leadership, communication, and project management skills.
