GM - IT

The GM - IT will be the strategic leader of Veolia India’s digital transformation journey, leveraging data as an asset, drive technology innovation, ensure cybersecurity compliance, and manage IS&T operations and services to support the business across all entities in India. This role is strategic in nature, with direct accountability for defining and implementing the digital strategy, , enhancing value from AI and data analytics, fostering a data culture , building internal technology capacity, and ensuring robust cybersecurity and data privacy practices.

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent. A postgraduate degree in Information Technology is a plus.

Experience & Skills:

• Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in Information Systems & Technology, digital strategy, data management and analytics..

• Proven experience in defining digital strategy, leading digital transformation, cybersecurity, and IT operations in large-scale, multi-site organizations.

• Experience in data governance, architecture and analytics.

• Strong background in application development, team management, and agile delivery methodologies.

• Experience in managing cross-functional and cross-cultural teams.

• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), cybersecurity tools, ERP systems (SAP, Oracle), and modern tech stacks.
