Global Product Manager QHSE, Business Assurance

**Job Description:** As a member of the team at SGS, the world's leading testing, inspection, and certification company, you will play a crucial role in ensuring certification services related to QHSE standards are technically compliant and commercially successful across the BA global affiliate network. Your primary responsibilities will include: - Leading the global product management function to ensure the quality of the service delivered meets accreditation requirements and specified business needs. - Working proactively with the Global Accreditation Manager and the Global Head of QHSE to support the development of enhanced customer services. - Participating in the definition of product strategies, policies, and internal systems as a member of the Global Product and Quality Management Team. - Collaborating with Global Accreditation Bodies and Global Affiliates to ensure a cost-effective Accreditation Body audit program. - Maintaining and extending required QHSE scope of accreditations in line with the Business Assurance certification strategy. - Assuming overall responsibility for the successful management of QHSE Certification Schemes globally. You will report to the Global Accreditation Manager for your role. **Specific Responsibilities:** **Business:** - Providing commercial strategy and business plans for the growth of the product in key countries and regions. - Establishing global and local pricing strategies in collaboration with the affiliates. - Developing marketing materials and tools to support business growth. - Participating in relevant scheme owner committees to ensure SGS maintains influence. - Ensuring proper communication and interaction with other Global Product Managers for business development. **Technical:** - Staying updated on product regulatory evolution. - Acting as the lead technical contact for the global network and providing subject matter expertise for internal audit programs. - Ensuring compliance with global technical documents and procedures. **Operational:** - Leading cross functional teams to enhance product-related operational processes. - Maintaining knowledge of SGS IT systems, procedures, and external approval criteria. - Monitoring KPIs for decision-making and continuous improvement. - Adhering to health, safety, and compliance standards at all times. **Qualifications:** - Effective communication skills at all levels within the company. - Market savvy with a strong customer focus. - Technical competency and understanding of industry regulations. - Interpersonal, negotiation, and persuasion skills. - Change management and organizational skills. - Integrity and risk management understanding. - People management skills. - Knowledge and experience of quality, environmental, and H&S certification business. - Minimum 5 years of quality assurance and auditing experience. - University degree in a relevant technical subject. - Fluency in English is a must. - Flexibility to travel is essential. **Additional Information:** At SGS, you will have the opportunity to join a globally recognized company in the TIC industry, enjoy a flexible work model, access continuous learning options, collaborate with colleagues worldwide, and benefit from comprehensive benefits.
