Job Title: GIS Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Convert and analyze CAD (DWG/DXF) files into fully attributed GIS layers including roads, utilities, buildings, and zoning.
• Develop interactive web mapping portals using Leaflet or Open Layers, integrating real-time data feeds and user access controls.
• Build, manage, and maintain geodatabases (GDB) with complete attribution schemas and spatial validation checks.
• Automate spatial workflows and reporting processes using Python (ArcPy, Pandas, GeoPandas).
• Collaborate with urban planners and engineers to create 3D visualizations and smart city dashboards.
• Conduct spatial analysis, data validation, and performance optimization for enterprise GIS systems.

Required Technical Skills:

• GIS Software: ArcGIS, ArcGIS Pro, QGIS, AutoCAD
• Web GIS Development: Leaflet, OpenLayers
• Programming: Python (ArcPy, Pandas, GeoPandas)
• Database Management: Geodatabases, Spatial SQL
• Visualization: 3D Mapping, Dashboard Creation (ArcGIS Dashboards, Power BI preferred)

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in GIS, Geomatics, Geography, Computer Science, or Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in GIS development or implementation.
• Experience working on smart city, urban planning, or infrastructure projects is preferred.
