German Educator

Job description

Global Tongue is seeking a highly skilled and motivated German Educator. This role involves creating high-quality delivering of education, leading a small team, and providing strategic direction to ensure our language learning platform meets the needs of learners in the Indian market. The ideal candidate will possess a strong command of both German and English, experience in content creation within the language learning sector, and the leadership skills necessary to mentor a subject matter expert.

Key Responsibilities

• Teaching German Language and Culture
• Delivering engaging and effective German language lessons, covering grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and cultural aspects.
• Design and develop engaging German language learning content tailored to the needs of the Indian market.
• Collaborate with the Content Head and other team members to ensure a cohesive and comprehensive curriculum.
• Utilize feedback and data analytics to refine and optimize content for maximum engagement and effectiveness.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in language education to innovate and continually improve our content offerings.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in German and strong English communication skills.
• Goethe Zertifikat C2/C1 or equivalent certifications is must.
• Proven track record of creating compelling content for language learning, preferably with experience working for language learning platforms.
• Demonstrated leadership ability with experience in team collaboration and mentorship.
• Strong understanding of curriculum development and educational content strategy.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to different learning styles and student needs.
• A bachelor's degree in German, Education, Linguistics, or a related field can be beneficial.

Language Proficiency: Fluency in German (both spoken and written) is essential.
