Job Description

Hi All,

Geographical Information Engineer

Locations:

Dehradun, Uttarakhand

Salary Range: 8-10 Lacs Per annum + Employee benefits.

Educational Qualification:

B.E./B.Tech or MCA in Electronics & Communication, Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical & Electronics, or an equivalent discipline recognized by AICTE/UGC/Ministry of HRD.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and supervise GIS mapping and spatial analysis to support telecom network design, validation, and asset visualization.
Verify
As-Built Diagrams (ABDs)
submitted by the Project Implementation Agency (PIA) and ensure accurate mapping on the GIS platform.
Ensure compliance with telecom network standards and guidelines for GIS data management.
Support cross-functional teams with GIS insights for project planning, implementation, and reporting.
Maintain, update, and validate GIS databases to ensure data accuracy and reliability.

Desired Skills & Competencies:

Strong knowledge of GIS tools and software (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS, AutoCAD Map).
Understanding of telecom network architecture and asset management.
Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.
Good communication and coordination skills for working with project teams and vendors.
