Role Description

Simpro Business Solutions Pvt Ltd is seeking a Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Analyst for a full-time, on-site role in Mumbai. The GIS Analyst will be responsible for utilizing GIS applications, performing GIS analysis, managing geospatial data, and supporting decision-making processes through spatial data analysis. This professional will also ensure accurate data management and collaborate with teams to create detailed and effective geospatial solutions.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and GIS Applications
• Strong GIS Analysis and Analytical Skills
• Expertise in Data Management, including collecting, processing, and organizing geospatial data
• Familiarity with cartography principles and spatial data visualization tools
• Bachelor's degree in Geography, GIS, Environmental Science, Urban Planning, or related field
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team
• Experience with GIS software such as ArcGIS, QGIS, or similar platforms
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or SQL for GIS analysis is an advantage
