Sanctum House of Wellness is a premier chain of health clubs with three operational branches located in Andheri, Khar, and Juhu. Our mission is to provide a world-class wellness experience, and we believe that seamless operations are at the heart of this promise. We are seeking a motivated and energetic General Trainer to join our team at SANCTUM – House of Wellness. The General Trainer will be responsible for maintaining high standards on the gym floor, guiding members in their fitness routines, ensuring safety and hygiene, and supporting the overall member experience. This role requires a hands-on approach, strong communication skills, and a passion for fitness.

Key Responsibilities:

1.Supervise assigned zones on the gym floor, ensuring cleanliness, equipment functionality, and member assistance. 2.Demonstrate proper form and technique for exercises to ensure safety and effectiveness. 3.Provide support and guidance to general members during workouts as per management policies.4.Conduct Body Composition Analysis (BCA) for members and maintain accurate records. 5.Assist the Fitness Manager in creating and updating workout cards for members. 6.Help members understand and follow their customised workout plans. 7.Ensure gym floor and equipment are clean, organised, and meet hygiene standards. 8.Promptly report equipment malfunctions or maintenance issues to the Fitness Manager. 9.Support gym events, promotions, and member engagement activities. 10.Monitor member behaviour and adherence to gym safety protocols. 11.Maintain order by ensuring all equipment is returned to its designated area after use. 12.Be available to work across different SANCTUM branches if required.

Requirements:

  • Certification in Personal Training or Fitness Instruction (REPS, ACE, ISSA, K11, ACSM, etc.)
  • Good knowledge of exercise techniques and gym equipment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong commitment to hygiene, member safety, and professional conduct.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or across multiple branches.
