Job Description

Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and analytical professional to join our Corporate Strategy & M&A team as General Manager Strategy. This role will be instrumental in shaping strategic initiatives, supporting market intelligence, and driving execution across integration, transition, and transformation programs. The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of the capability ecosystem, strategic planning, and operational execution.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Planning & Market Intelligence

  • Conduct in-depth market research, competitor analysis, and industry landscaping to support leadership in strategic decision-making.
  • Deep dive, analyze and interpret analyst reports, industry trends, and macroeconomic indicators to identify growth opportunities.
  • Maintain and update the Pipeline Deal Tracker, publish dashboards, and ensure governance of the surrounding processes.

Execution & Integration

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to develop and execute strategic action plans for M&A integrations, transitions, and transformation initiatives.
  • Drive execution of critical strategic matters, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timelines.
  • Support post-merger integration activities including synergy tracking, capability alignment, and change management.

Governance & Reporting

  • Lead governance forums, prepare executive dashboards, and ensure timely reporting of strategic initiatives.
  • Utilize tools such as Power BI, Excel (including VLOOKUP, pivot tables), Copilot, and other analytics platforms to automate and enhance reporting accuracy.

Capability Ecosystem Engagement

  • Understand and map internal capabilities to strategic priorities.
  • Identify gaps and opportunities for capability enhancement through partnerships, acquisitions, or internal development.

Qualifications & Skills

  • 12+ years of experience in strategy, M&A, consulting, or corporate planning roles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools.
  • Experience in managing strategic projects, transitions, and integrations.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Exposure to working with leadership teams and driving cross-functional initiatives.
  • Self motivated, proactive and forward looking.
