Job Title: General Manager – Marketing & Administration

Department: International Education / Study Abroad Division

Reports To: Managing Director / CEO

Job Summary:

The General Manager – Marketing & administration is responsible for overseeing the overall operations, business growth, and strategic direction of the Study Abroad division. This role involves leading a team to achieve student recruitment targets, establishing and maintaining partnerships with international universities, ensuring high-quality student counselling services, and driving operational excellence across all branches.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Planning & Leadership

  • Develop and implement business strategies to achieve growth in international student enrolments.
  • Oversee branch operations, business targets, and profitability.
  • Provide leadership and direction to counselling, marketing, and admissions teams.
  • Monitor market trends and identify new opportunities in study destinations and courses

2. Business Development & Partnerships

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with foreign universities, colleges, and educational partners.
  • Negotiate partnership agreements and manage institutional tie-ups.
  • Represent the company at international education fairs, networking events, and conferences.

3. Operations Management

  • Ensure smooth functioning of counselling, documentation, and visa processing teams.
  • Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) for efficient service delivery.
  • Monitor and improve student satisfaction levels and service quality.
  • Oversee compliance with international education regulations and company policies.

4. Marketing & Promotion

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute campaigns for lead generation.
  • Oversee digital and offline marketing activities for student recruitment.
  • Build the brand presence of the organization in the study abroad sector.

5. Team Management & Training

  • Lead, motivate, and mentor a team of counsellors, operations, and marketing staff.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and staff development programs.
  • Create a culture of accountability, innovation, and customer focus.

6. Financial Management

  • Prepare and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and business plans.
  • Track revenue targets, control operational costs, and ensure profitability.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s Degree in Business Administration, International Education, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8–12 years of experience in the education industry, with at least 5 years in a senior managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of study destinations such as the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, and Europe.
  • Proven track record of business growth and team leadership.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong business acumen and analytical thinking.
  • Ability to multitask and manage cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office Suite.
  • Customer-oriented approach with attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
