Our business & market Position: Sudarshan Paper & Board Private Limited is a leading paper & paperboard merchant operating in Eastern India - INR 5 billion revenue & growing. Catering with 8 segments of paper & paperboards, serving more than 1800 customers in eastern region, associate with 30 domestic & 5 international paper mills. Our sales primarily B to B We are clear leaders - by far - in terms of IT Systems (Custom ERP), Physical Infrastructure (6000 sft corporate office & 1,10,000 sft modern warehousing facility with capacity of 5000 MT inventory holding), Team Quality, Team Structure and Strategy Sophistication - than all our competitors in Eastern India. Role & responsibilities: Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets. Develop a sales model & Team for a focused sales methodology that is repeatable and scalable. This is to be done in co-ordination with senior management & external Consultant. Identify new market opportunities and develop strategic partnerships. Take Company to Leadership position in every sales channel once Model is implemented. Manage and motivate the sales team to meet sales objectives. Look to play leadership role during Geographic expansion phase. Provide coaching and mentorship to the sales team. Track sales performance and analyze market trends. Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients. Ensure customer satisfaction and resolve any issues or complaints. Prepare sales reports and present to senior management. Preferred candidate profile: Experienced sales leader with a proven track record of managing and mentoring teams to align with the organization's vision and mission. Skilled in handling commodity product sales in highly dynamic pricing environments and catering to unorganized customer segments. Adept at driving sales performance, motivating teams, and enhancing capabilities through structured training and development initiatives. Key Requirements: Age: Preferred between 32 to 45 years Experience Stability: Minimum of 5 years in the same organization (demonstrating professional stability and long-term contribution) Strong background in sales leadership, team alignment, and field execution Experience in dealing with pricing volatility and market unpredictability Ability to work across unstructured markets and drive business growth
