Facilitate the Managers to meet the Production, Quality, Cost, Delivery and Safety

targets of the Company.

  • Motivate and empower the Managers to work TOGETHER in a TEAM.
  • Set department goal and objectives
  • Set performance plan for Staff
  • Lead the involvement of operating team in the pre-commissioning and commissioning

activities of new products and processes.

  • To continuously train, coach and mentor people and build a collaborative culture in the

team

  • Conduct employee evaluation and license to drive. Identify the training needs through

skill matrix and co-ordination with HR for imparting the required training to improve the

overall flexibility and skill of operators

  • Kaizen and work place improvement, Initiate and carry out the improvement &

corrective / preventive actions as regards to the process and quality of products.

Participate and support the Internal, customer and third party audits.

  • Effective utilization of resources to meet the customer Quality & delivery Schedules of

the Mini factory products.

  • Departmental Budgets, budgetary control, cost reduction initiatives for identified loss

heads and Profitability of Departments

  • Inventory Management
  • Rejection Disposal
  • Finalization of Import Logistics Provider
  • Finalization of in-house Logistics Service Provider
  • Finalization of Dispatch Logistics Provider
  • Development of Cost-effective, Quality Packaging
  • Production Scheduling
  • Delivery Performance: 100% Type wise and Quantity wise Fulfillment of Customer

Requirement

  • Perform the interface between the Supply/Demand chain to interlink the delivery

requirements of customer, mini factory capacity utilization and supplier

  • Plan and conduct periodic internal audits and ensure actions on non-compliance
  • Lead monthly management review with regard to quality performance
  • Set and execute all quality targets and metrics
  • Visit key customers, interact & capture vital issues and collaborate with production

team for implementation

  • Manage all customer audits
  • Review customer quality agreements periodically
  • Manage Failure analysis and initiate actions for overall warranty reduction.
  • Ensure that required equipments and gauges are available for product and process

measurement and control

  • Adherence to international Pierburg standards & close cooperation with international

colleagues.

  • Development and implementation of a visualized production system, This include KPIs

(OEE, Delivery performance, Complaints etc & flow of information)

  • Apply statistical methods and perform mathematical calculations to determine

manufacturing processes, staff requirements, and production standards.

  • Coordinate quality objectives and activities to resolve production problems, maximize

product reliability, and minimize cost.

  • Draft and design layout of equipment, materials, and workspace to illustrate maximum

efficiency.

  • Correctly diagnose equipment malfunctions by Maintain repair logs, takes call out

reports and orders parts/materials for repair and maintenance of equipment. Make

decisions regarding appropriate remedial action.

  • Maintain safe working practices including all pertinent records.
  • Manage a comprehensive informal system for auditing, billing, fueling and equipment

charges.

  • Prepare comprehensive department reports
  • Monitor MTTB & MTTF and work on corrective action
  • Coordinate with supplier related to plant activities for AMC, fall back arrangement
