Details of Qualification, Experience & Age for the above post are as follows:

• Qualification

  : Full-time B.E./B.Tech. in Chemical discipline from a recognized college/university with minimum 60% aggregate marks.

• Experience

  : Minimum 27 years of post-qualification relevant work experience in a large Ammonia/Urea based Fertilizer Plant as on 30.11.2025. Out of this, at least 18 years should be in senior managerial/leadership roles handling Ammonia/Urea/Offsites Plants. Candidates currently working

  as Plant/Production Head in reputed fertilizer/chemical organizations will be preferred.

• Age Limit

  : Not more than 54 years for Grade C as on 30.11.2025

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide overall leadership and strategic direction for Production across Ammonia, Urea, and Offsite Units.
• Drive production planning, capacity utilization, and operational performance to achieve organizational goals.
• Ensure safe, reliable, and environment-friendly operations, including DCS-based start-ups, shutdowns, troubleshooting, and emergency management.
• Implement process optimization initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce energy consumption, and minimize operational costs.
• Supervise procurement of catalysts, chemicals, consumables, and oversee contract management for operational services.
• Enforce strict compliance with safety, health, environment, and quality standards (SHEQ).

  Process Safety Management (PSM) systems

  , ensuring a culture of safety across all operations.
• Provide administrative and technical leadership to the Production team, fostering accountability and high performance.
• Coordinate closely with Maintenance, Projects, Instrumentation, Utilities, and Quality Control to ensure smooth plant operations.
• Review and approve process improvement proposals, technology upgradation, and debottlenecking initiatives.
• Champion training, mentoring, and career development of production personnel.
• Represent the Production Department before senior management, regulatory authorities, and external stakeholders.
• Perform any other responsibilities assigned by the Executive Director (Operations)/Management.
