Qualification
: Full-time B.E./B.Tech. in Chemical discipline from a recognized college/university with minimum 60% aggregate marks.
Experience
: Minimum 23 years of relevant post-qualification experience in a large Ammonia/Urea based Fertilizer Complex as on 30.11.2025. Out of this, at least 13 years should be in operational leadership roles in Ammonia/ Urea/Utilities & Offsite plants etc. Candidates with previous experience supporting plant-level responsibilities will be preferred.

: Not more than 50 years for Grade D as on 30.11.2025

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Support the Plant in-Charge in managing
Ammonia/Urea/Utilities & Offsite units
.
Monitor production KPIs and ensure achievement of daily/monthly targets.
Lead safe plant operations, including routine DCS operations, emergency handling, and shutdown/start-up activities.
Coordinate with internal departments for smooth equipment and utility support.
Handle contracts and procurement related to chemicals, catalysts, and services.
Ensure statutory and internal compliance for environment, health, and safety.
Mentor and manage production teams and shift in-charges.
Participate in audits, reviews, troubleshooting efforts, and plant improvements.
Raise and support implementation of modification proposals and energy-saving initiatives.
Take charge in absence of Plant In-Charge and perform delegated responsibilities.
