Details of Qualification, Experience & Age for the above post are as follows:

• Qualification

  : Full-time B.E./B.Tech. in Chemical discipline from a recognized college/university with minimum 60% aggregate marks.

• Experience

  : Minimum 25 years of post-qualification relevant work experience in a large Ammonia/Urea based Fertilizer Complex as on 30.11.2025. Out of this, at least 15 years should be in operational leadership/senior managerial roles in Ammonia/Urea/Utilities & Offsites Plants etc. Preference will be given to candidates

  already working as Plant in-Charge

  : Not more than 52 years for Grade C1 as on 30.11.2025

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• The candidate will be responsible for supervising of two streams of Ammonia Plants (Process licenser : M/s KBR)/two streams of Urea Plants(Process licenser : M/s SAIPEM)/Utilities & Offsites Plants etc. ensuring achievement of production targets, while effectively maintaining quality, safety standards and environmental norms.
• Lead production planning, execution, and operational performance across all process units.
• Ensure safe and reliable operation of plants, including DCS-based start-up, shutdown, troubleshooting, and emergency handling.
• Drive plant efficiency through process optimization and reduction of specific energy consumption.
• Oversee procurement of catalysts, chemicals, and key operational services including contract management.
• Maintain strict adherence to safety, health, environment, and quality standards.
• Exercise administrative and technical control over all production teams.
• Coordinate with departments such as Maintenance, Projects, Instrumentation, Utilities, and Quality Control for smooth operations.
• Identify and implement process improvements and modification proposals.
• Drive training and skill development programs for production personnel.
• Liaise with senior management, government authorities, and external agencies as required.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Head of Production or management.
