About the Position: -

We are looking for an experienced and energetic General Manager for our (Brewery) Based in Bokaro, Jharkhand. Currently we have a tie up with prominent brands like Kingfisher and Godfather and making our own branded beer BAD MONKEY Beer.

The primary responsibility of a General Manager is to oversee the entire operations of the plant, ensuring that production processes are efficient, safe, and aligned with organizational goals.

Job Responsibilities: -

·      Plan, organize, direct and run optimum day-to-day operations to exceed our customers’ expectations.

·      Increase production, assets capacity and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining current quality standards.

·      Be responsible for production output, product quality and on-time shipping.

·      Allocate resources effectively and fully utilize assets to produce optimal results.

·      Implement strategies in alignment with strategic initiatives and provide a clear sense of direction and focus

·      Monitor operations and trigger corrective actions.

·      Share a trusting relationship with workgroup and recruit, manage and develop plant staff

·      Commit to plant safety procedures.

·      Develop systems and processes that track and optimize productivity and standards, metrics and performance targets to ensure effective return on assets.

·      Address employees’ issues or grievances and administer collective bargaining agreements

·      Stay up to date with latest production management best practices and concepts.

·      Optimize resource allocation to achieve production goals efficiently while controlling costs.

·      Collaborate with quality assurance teams to identify and address any issues related to product quality.

·      Develop and manage budgets for plant operations, including forecasting and tracking expenses.

·      Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.

·      Lead initiatives for process improvement, innovation, and optimization of production methods.

·      Implement lean manufacturing principles and other relevant methodologies to enhance operational efficiency.

Requirements and skills: -

Min. 10 years of Work experience is required as a Assistant Plant Head/ Assistant Manager/Operations Head position or similar role on Beer Manufacturing Plant

Experience in Beer Manufacturing Industry only.

·       Strong understanding of production processes, quality control, and safety standards.

·       Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse workforce.

·       Problem-solving and decision-making abilities, especially in high-pressure situations.

·       Analytical skills to interpret data and metrics for informed decision-making.

·       Knowledge of relevant regulations, compliance standards, and industry best practices.

·       Proficiency in using various software and tools for data analysis, reporting, and communication.
