Position: General Manager – Chinese Restaurant/Pan Asian Restaurant
Location: Gurgaon, Haryana
Experience: 5–10 years in restaurant or hospitality management (preferably with Pan Asian cuisine)
Job Description (JD) for a General Manager at a Chinese restaurant in Gurgaon, blending industry standards with local expectations:
Key Responsibilities:
➢ Operations Management: Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service and adherence to quality standards.
➢ Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and manage front-of-house and kitchen staff; foster a positive and efficient work culture.
➢ Customer Experience: Ensure exceptional guest service, handle escalations, and maintain high satisfaction levels.
➢ Financial Oversight: Monitor budgets, control costs, manage P&L, and optimize profitability.
➢ Inventory & Supply Chain: Manage vendor relationships, control stock levels, and ensure timely procurement of ingredients and supplies.
➢ Compliance & Safety: Enforce hygiene, food safety, and local regulatory standards.
➢ Marketing & Promotion: Collaborate on local marketing strategies, events, and promotions to boost footfall and brand visibility.
Skills & Qualifications :
➢ Strong knowledge of Chinese cuisine and dining etiquette
➢ Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
➢ Proficiency in restaurant management software and POS systems
➢ Ability to multitask and work under pressure
➢ Degree/diploma in Hotel Management or related field preferred
Preferable :
➢ Mandarin language skills (even basic)
➢ Prior experience with pan-Asian or fine-dining concepts
➢ Familiarity with Gurgaon//'s F&B landscape
