General Manager- Agriculture

Roles and Responsibilities

Lead the development and implementation of the Agriculture and Food Production Sector's business strategy, aligning it with corporate objectives.

Deploy Lean Management techniques, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements and Group standards.

Define operations headcount needs, profile resources, and evaluate performance.

Identify and evaluate business opportunities, acquisitions, and joint ventures, presenting them for approval by the Group CEO.
Work with stakeholders across Group to understand challenges and changes, driving capital investments and Agriculture and Food Production project improvements.

Establish Corporate Performance Management frameworks and conduct periodic performance reporting sessions.
Set individual business objectives, lead, manage, and support the development and execution of Agriculture and Food Production Sector initiatives.

Ensure continuous improvement of systems and processes, supporting better reporting to the Group CEO.
Manage and enhance the effectiveness of the business development team, fostering continuous improvements and communication.

Manage direct reports, guide their day-to-day tasks, provide feedback, and allocate work efficiently.
Build high-performing teams, provide strategic support, and coaching, and identify training requirements.
