General Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and achieve sales targets for Aeon's product lines (industrial waterproofing, heat reflective paints, etc.).
• Develop and implement marketing strategies tailored for the industrial market, highlighting product features, reliability, compliance, warranties, and technical performance.
• Identify, engage, and close sales with industrial/ commercial clients, such as factories, warehouses, commercial roofs, institutional buildings.
• Lead the complete sales cycle: sourcing leads, qualifying, presenting, negotiating, closing.
• Prepare technical documentation, product collateral, and marketing content that clearly communicates product benefits and technical specifications.
• Conduct market research & competitive analysis to understand market trends, customer requirements, and adjust strategy.
• Oversee marketing & sales budgets; track ROI on campaigns/activities.
• Provide accurate sales forecasts, performance metrics, pipeline reports to MD.
• Coach, mentor, and manage the internal sales & marketing team; set clear KPIs and monitor performance.
• Work with operations/ product / quality teams to ensure product delivery, quality, aftersales support, and customer satisfaction.

Key Requirements:

• 10-20 years of experience specifically in industrial chemicals/ waterproofing / coatings / related technical product sales & marketing.
• Strong B2B sales experience in industrial/commercial sector with industrial clients.
• Capability to translate technical product features into customer value propositions.
• Solid skills in negotiation, presentation, communication.
• Experience with digital marketing tools, content marketing, CRM software.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret sales data and market intelligence.
• Leadership skills: ability to manage, motivate, and develop a team.
• Fluency in English & Kannada; additional language skills are a plus.
