Job Description

Role & responsibilities

  • Finalization of accounts & preparation of balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Preparation of monthly financial MIS/ Financials
  • Provide insights through financial analysis to support decision-making by management.
  • Manage the accounting team, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations
  • Coordinate and liaise with external auditors during financial audits and ensure timely completion of audit processes.
  • Strictly follow and maintain internal control systems to safeguard assets and ensure accuracy in financial transactions.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and company policies
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and supervise and manage tax filings and reporting
  • Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory and legal requirements including ROC.
  • Manage cash reserves, investments, and banking relationships to optimize returns and liquidity as per Management guidelines.
  • Budgeting, Strategic planning and Debtors Management & Fund Raising
  • Develop budgets, forecasts, and financial plans aligned with the company's goals and objectives
  • Monitor actual performance against budgets and provide variance analysis
  • Monitor banking activities and maintain professional relationships with financial institutions
  • Manage cash flow and liquidity, forecasting cash needs and optimizing working capital
  • Generate periodic financial reports for management review, providing insights into the company's financial health and performance
  • Identify and manage financial risks, ensuring the company has strong internal controls to protect its assets.
