Job Description

Role Overview: You will be responsible for conducting both face-to-face and remote sales to new and existing customers in the Energy sector. Your role will involve assessing customer needs, suggesting appropriate products, services, and solutions, and developing and delivering sales bids, presentations, and proposals. Additionally, you will be identifying and contacting prospective customers, building relationships, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the sales process. As an Experienced Professional (P2), you will work independently with general supervision, influencing others within the job area through explanation of facts, policies, and practices. Key Responsibilities: - Evaluate customer documentation and interpret their needs, as well as assess commercial terms and conditions to establish long-term customer relationships. - Deliver the full HVDC service sales cycle from opportunity generation to need identification, presentation/offer response, negotiation, and closing. - Develop customer-specific proposals with technical and commercial elements, adhering to tendering policies and applying technical expertise in HVDC Service solutions. - Lead cross-functional teams to gather necessary information for bids and work effectively with other Sales/Business Units to create value for customers and drive negotiations until contract signing. - Perform risk assessments, ensure bid compliance with client requirements and company policies, and develop effective bid strategies to increase the chances of winning. - Review all bid documents for accuracy and completeness before submission, ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines. Qualifications Required: - Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of relevant experience in the Energy sector. - Knowledge of HVDC, FACTS, substations, power, and quality solutions. - Drive to exceed goals, improve business practices, and demonstrate teamwork, collaboration, and change management skills. - Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required. - Self-reliance, reliability, creativity, problem-solving, and goal-oriented mindset.
